Can listening to death metal music bring a change in one's view of life?

This is from an 18 year old girl.After finishing school,my life has gone through some not so pleasant changes.I didnt have my old friends with me all the time,and some of my best friends shifted to America or other local cities.I terribly missed the old times.Life was hollow,empty,just not happening.I wanted to be engaged in something interesting and new.This lead to an urge to discover different genres of music,and death metal caught my attention.I now listen to bands like cannibal corpse,children of bodom,morbid angel etc.As we know,Lyrical content of death metal songs is satanic,dark,antireligious and deadly.Even though many death metal bands have clearly said that their lyrics are fictional and not to be taken seriously,it could still affect the thought process.Does it?
