My mother won't let me watch The Exorcist!!?

Im 18 and my mother will not let me watch paranormal activity, the exorcist, basicslly anything thats supernatural that has to do with spirits, satanic. i said today "hey mom they have paranormal activity & the exorcist on netflix i think im going to watch it!" she said "no the hell you wont not in this damn house, i told you i dont play that spirit ****" im like come the hell on mom what the hell i ask her why she doesnt like that kind of stuff she never answers me, she said ask my aunt, my aunt told me that they use to live in a house but it was a funeral parlor before it got closed down and it became a house.. and thats all she said wtf that has to do with movies?
